Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She has been featured on a range of television shows and movies throughout her professional career. The model started out modeling, however when she received international recognition, she decided to pursue acting. In 1995, she started acting in the television series "Baywatch Nights". She has also done voice-overs and contributed her voice to the animated adaptation of the film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon decided, in 2000, to focus solely on films. After a brief appearance in a couple of films and a few TV shows, she returned to acting in TV series. In 2008, she was among of the few actors to be photographed discreetly naked in 'Allure Magazine'. The character as the detective Jane Rizzoli was her most significant work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. As a detective she received a lot of praise as well as awards. Her work as a detective has garnered several nominations throughout her career. Additionally, she was awarded a few prizes.
