Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor that has appeared in various television shows as well as films in the last couple of years. She started out as a successful model prior to moving into acting. Her acting career started in 1995, when she appeared on the popular TV show "Baywatch Nights". Harmon also performs voice acting as well as voice-overs for the animated film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". Harmon has stepped down from TV shows in 2000 to concentrate on film. Her return to acting TV shows came after two films. She was among few actors who taken a photo of themselves naked for the magazine "Allure" magazine since 2008. The most famous of her roles is her role in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT series "Rizzoli & Isles.' In her role as a detective, she has was praised and awards. Angie Harmon has been nominated for numerous times over the years, and has received a few awards for her outstanding performances.
