Ashley was born two months earlier, weighing less than 3 pounds. The ICU was her place of residence for one month. Parents were informed that she'd require heart surgery at Christmas Day. Prayers were answered when her parents visited the hospital on Christmas Day and were told by medical professionals that her heart was been shut. Ashley was not required to undergo any operations. In two months of hospitalization, she was only 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Since then, she has been in good health since! Her father's heritage is English as well as German. The family of her mother is from Ireland. Her acting debut was as a Barbie Doll in the Salon Surprise commercial of 2002. Ashley aged 8 was approached by Ford Modeling Agency. She was a steady performer in the print industry and remains with the Agency. When she was 10years old, Ashley made the decision to be an actor. Ashley continued to work on 35 commercials, and then into roles in the theatre. The acting was her passion now. Ashley focused her entire attention into acting, which left little time for modeling and dancing, anymore. Ashley was "Hanna Marin", a character on ABC Family, Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley had a small appearance in Romeo's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love", which was performed with Solange along with Romeo Miller. Britney Spears posed for her in the Vogue Magazine shoot. She is in NLT's music video "That Girl".
